Habitat Vet Favicon

The team at Habitat Vet expect the same two qualities from our clients as what we aim to convey in all of our interactions: kindness and collaboration. Acceptable behaviour for our clients reasonably falls under the umbrella of these values.

The relationships we make with our clients are essential for optimal care of our patients. As your veterinary care team, our oath is to promote animal health and welfare via this relationship.

Habitat Vet will respectfully end VCPRs (veterinary client patient relationships) with clients who do not adhere to expectations. The patient records will be sent to the clinic of the client’s choosing thereafter. Unacceptable behaviour from our clients would include:
• Rudeness, harassment and bullying
• Discriminatory remarks or actions
• Shouting and cursing

Due to the nature of house call practice, we kindly ask that our clients understand unforeseen circumstances such appointment cancellation / postponement due to inclement weather, staff illness, or road closures. Our clients can expect prompt communication if an appointment must be cancelled or postponed.
